The Stainless Steel Bowl (MUZ6ER2) for the Bosch Universal Plus mixer has a polypropylene center drive shaft column, enabling the Universal's standard wire whisks and BreadMaster dough hook (as well as the new accessory cookie paddles) to be used in it. Capacity is 6.5 quarts (approx. 15 lbs. of dough.) This bowl is soldwithoutdough hook whip drive or whisks, because those pieces from the Universal Plus mixer's standard plastic bowl fit onto this bowl. This Original-Style Stainless Steel Bowl (model MUZ6ER1) uses a special dough hook that drives from the bottom of the bowl. This bowl comes with its own dough hook, which does an outstanding job of kneading. The bottom-drive design provides a little extra dough capacity because there is no center column as in the standard bowl. Capacity is 6 quarts (approx. 14 lbs. of dough). This stainless bowl also includes splash ring and center cover. The bowl fits on the Bosch Universal Mixer's low speed drive (the same place the standard plastic bowl mounts.) Whips, whisks and cookie paddles cannot be used with this bowl because it's built without the center drive column. The bottom drive shaft pops out of its socket with a smack from the palm of your hand, for easy cleaning. Putting a drop of vegetable oil on the O-rings after washing will make them last a long time.

Note: To use this bowl on theUniversal Plus, you'll need to use some small rubber bumpers to prevent wobble (see here.)

4. Bushing for Orig. Stainless Bowl:点击产品.

The bowl's drive pin (item #9 below) turns inside this bushing. After extended use the bushing can become worn and contribute to leakage. If you need to replace this bushing, Bosch recommends also replacing the upper gasket (item #5 below) and the lower gasket (item #8 below) at the same time. If you replace your bushing and if your old nut (item #7 below) is made of stainless steel, you will need to purchase item #7 (the nut) because your old stainless nut will not work with the current-production replacement bushing.

This item is a pkg. of 4 of these gaskets. Reassemble tightly to prevent leakage. If you need to replace the bowl’s bushing (item #4 above) after years of use, replacement of this gasket is important even if the existing gasket doesn’t look bad, because hardening of the gasket over time will make leakage likely after reassembly.

This item is a pkg. of 3 of these gaskets. If this gasket becomes excessively worn, the bowl will leak. Bosch recommends frequent replacement of this gasket, but keeping the gasket lubricated with a drop of vegetable oil will dramatically extend its life. Failure of this gasket is the most common cause of leakage for this bowl. However, wear to two other parts, the bowl’s Bushing (item #4 above) and the Upper Gasket (item #5 above) can also cause leakage, so those parts may also need to be replaced if your bowl leaks.

Whips, Whisks & Whip Drive: Bosch recommends using the new Cookie Paddle accessory (directly below on this page) for mixing non-pourable batters. The Wire Whips and Batter Whisks are not warranted against breaking or bending because the Bosch motor is strong enough to easily bend them in heavier materials.

Cookie Paddles: Bosch recommends using the wire whips and batter whisks (which are shown above) for pourable batters. Heavier cookie batters can be mixed with your Universal dough hook, but now you have the ideal option: The cookie paddles for the Bosch Universal mixer, manufactured by the U.S. Bosch importer! These snap onto the metal whip drive piece—that's the oval-cone shaped part that fits down onto the top of the bowl's center shaft, which has two axle pins that point downward into the bowl. The cookie paddles are warranted against defect by the manufacturer for 1 year. This is a very useful accessory, highly recommended! (NOTE: If you have the newer "Universal Plus" model of mixer with the white colored whip drive, you will need to purchase the set of paddles that's packaged with a metal drive to use them on. These new cake paddles attach to the metal whip drive of the Bosch Universal Plus (or older style Bosch Classic) mixer, for use when making cake and quick bread batter as well as other pourable batters and frosting. They let you make better cake because they avoid incorporating too much air into the batter.

If your Bosch mixer has a metal whip drive, these cake paddles will snap right onto it. If you have an older mixer with a plastic whip drive, you will need to instead order the cake paddles together with a metal whip drive, directly below.

The new Dough Hook Extender accessory for the Bosch Universal mixer is placed under the dough hook and fits snugly against it. The extender sweeps the center column, allowing as little as one to two loaves of bread to be perfectly kneaded. It fits the Universal Plus and also fits older models of the Bosch Universal mixer.

This is the cap that covers the blender-mounting spot when no accessory is being used there. Without either an accessory or else this cover in place, a safety lockout switch prevents motor operation.

This is the suction-cup foot for under the base of the Universal Plus mixer. Sold individually. Disassembly is not required to replace these: Just push up into place and give the foot a quarter-turn.

This is the rubber bumper-pad on the back side of the Universal Plus mixer. Sold individually. When you use accessories like the meat grinder, the motor base is turned on its back and these bumpers then serve as the machine's feet.

Blender Complete for U-Plus Mixer:点击产品.

Before getting into parts for the blender, here's the complete attachment. It comes with carafe, blade assembly, lid and funnel cap... the whole works... and this blender will fit onto any Bosch Universal mixer model, regardless of the age of the Universal. If part of your blender has failed due to sheer age and/or lots of use, you might be wise to replace the whole thing. Tip: The blender lid doubles as a handy "wrench" that makes removal and replacement of the blade assembly fast & easy, but remember that rather than unscrewing all the way, you just give it a quarter-turn, then it pulls straight out easily.

Note: If you’re replacing an older blender, please be sure to check the condition of the High Speed Drive (HSD) piece, which is attached to the top of your Universal mixer and drives the blender. In most cases, if your blender is due for replacement, then the HSD is also very worn and needs to be changed at the same time. Putting a new blender onto a worn-out HSD will result in rapid wear and failure of the drive coupling on a new blender, and Bosch doesn’t warrant the blender coupler against abuse of that nature. The three teeth of the HSD need to come all the way up to the top of the HSD; if they’re rounded-off, it needs to be replaced.

This is the piece that drives the blender. It's pictured both on and off the mixer. Your old one can be pulled off with a pliers, and the new one will press onto the shaft by hand. Be sure to align the flat parts of its socket with the flat parts of the shaft, and push hard so it goes on all the way.

If you need a new one of these, be sure to inspect your "Blender Coupler" (it's the item listed last in the list above, SKU WJ952)... because the most common cause of failure of the High Speed Drive is deterioration of the Blender Coupler. You'll ruin your new High Speed Drive if you put a blender on it that has a bad Blender Coupler, and Bosch doesn't warrant the HSD against abuse of that nature.

Before getting into attachments and parts for the Universal Food and Meat Grinder, here's the complete attachement. The Food and Meat Grinder attachment for the Bosch mixer grinds and minces meats, vegetables, virtually any food. It comes with a 4.5 mm disk for general use and many more sizes are available to achieve any desired consistency. A stomper is included to feed meat or other foods down the chute. The Universal mixer (not included) is turned onto its rear-mounted rubber feet, as shown, to operate the grinder. The Meat Grinder attachment also fits the Bosch Universal Classic Mixer.

(The millimeter size refers to the diameter of the holes in the disk.) The small 2 mm disk is for mincing. For large chunks, use the 8 or 13 mm disks. Available in 2mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 13mm. Meat grinder disks are also referred to as meat grinder plates.

These extrusion dies form eleven different shapes of pasta. This set fits onto the Meat Grinder attachment for the Bosch Universal Mixer, both sold separately.
