Best materials: Built of heavy gauge steel and forged frame parts, solid teak or stainless steel pressing basket and heavy gauge stainless steel pan, the Harvest Bounty cider press is built for years of fun and reliable durability. When shipped, the press legs are bolted down to a wooden board which you can use as a base, or reuse/recycle. The board prevents leg damage during shipment.

These high strength pressing/strainer bags have holes approximately 1/32". Disposable cotton cheesecloth is the traditional material to use for this purpose, but these mesh bags are much handier and they're very durable—one bag will last more than a season in normal use.
