At the top end of capacity range stands the 21 gallon (80 liter)stainless steel hydropressthat presses 190 lbs. of grapes at a time. Also called a bladder press or water press, this unit is powered by the pressure of your domestic water supply. Just open the value, and water pressure expands the bladder, pressing your grape juice out through the basket’s slots. The hydropress is a fast, easy and highly effective route to outstanding juice yield.
Maximizer wine press
Maximizer® wine pressesare popular by virtue of their features, grape capacity and high strength construction. The winepress frame members are 3/16” wall-thickness rectangular steel. Available in volume capacities of 5.3 and 9.5 gallons, these wine presses hold 48 and 85 lbs. of grapes, respectively. They have large diameter Acme-threaded forcing screws and ratcheting handles that let you develop high basket pressure to extract every possible drop of grape juice.
